Since 1824 this historic mill complex has been an intregal part of the industrial revolution in America. Located on the Blackstone River, adjacent to a dramatic horseshoe falls, the mills have been converted from a contaminated brownfield site into a vibrant mixed use community. There were many contraints governing the rehabilatation of this site, including floodplain regulations, historic guidelines, remediation requirements and programatic issues.
